DEAL Expo 2026 – Google Ads Campaign

Objective

The objective of this campaign was lead generation for Semnox, who were exhibiting at the DEAL Expo held at the Dubai World Trade Center. The campaign aimed to create awareness among amusement and entertainment industry professionals and encourage them to visit the Semnox booth (Z2-BO5) to explore the company’s products and solutions.
The goal was to generate qualified leads and meeting opportunities before the expo, ensuring strong engagement with potential customers during the event.

Challenge

This campaign presented several challenges:
  • Short Campaign Duration: The campaign ran for just 16 days (26th January – 11th February 2026), leaving limited time for optimization and lead generation.
  • Highly Niche Audience: The ads targeted professionals in the amusement, entertainment, and attractions industry, which significantly narrowed the audience pool.
  • Regional Targeting Constraints: Ads were focused only on Middle Eastern and African countries, while excluding Yemen, Somalia, Congo, and other underdeveloped regions.
  • High Competition in B2B Expo Advertising: Competing exhibitors were also targeting the same audience leading up to the event.
Despite these challenges, the campaign needed to deliver qualified leads for booth visits within a limited timeframe.

Strategy

To overcome these challenges, a focused digital strategy was implemented:
Geographic Targeting
The campaign targeted Middle Eastern and African markets, prioritizing regions with strong amusement and entertainment industries.

High-Intent Keyword Targeting
 Search ads focused on expo-related and industry-specific keywords, ensuring the ads reached professionals actively searching for amusement technology and solutions.

Product-Focused Messaging
Ad copies highlighted Semnox’s key solutions showcased at the expo, including:

The messaging encouraged attendees to visit the Semnox booth (Z2-BO5) and meet the team to learn more about their products.

  • Launched Google Search Ads campaign from 26th January to 11th February 2026.

Ad Performance

Despite a limited campaign duration and highly niche targeting, the campaign delivered strong engagement metrics:

  • Achieved an exceptionally high CTR of 21.88%, indicating strong relevance between the ads and audience intent.
  • Generated 280 clicks from a highly targeted audience, ensuring quality traffic rather than broad reach.
  • Delivered 13 qualified leads who showed interest in learning about Semnox solutions at the expo.

The relatively higher CPC reflected the competitive B2B technology and expo advertising environment, particularly within Middle Eastern markets.

The Outcome

The DEAL Expo campaign demonstrated that even within a short 16-day timeframe, a well-targeted digital strategy can generate meaningful results.

The campaign successfully:

  • Generated qualified leads for Semnox before the expo
  • Created strong awareness about Semnox’s presence at the Dubai World Trade Center
  • Encouraged industry professionals to visit the Semnox booth and explore their solutions
